Since 1926, DuPont Pioneer has run its business based on a single guiding principle: the success of the business is based on their customers’ success. That belief has made the company a leading developer and supplier of plant genetics to farmers worldwide.
When the company wanted to increase employee engagement with better clarity, alignment and focus, it turned to Root Inc. With a cross-functional team in place, three Learning Map modules were developed – one on strategy, one on growth and one on core processes.
After testing them in the US, Latin America and Europe, the team refined some areas of the maps and proceeded to roll them out across DuPont Pioneer worldwide in groups no larger than 10. Ultimately, 8,500 employees participated in the sessions that helped them to better understand the business, the company’s place in the market, their individual roles in accomplishing the strategy and so much more.
An internal DuPont Pioneer study revealed that 95% of employees agreed or strongly agreed that the Learning Map sessions increased their understanding of the company strategy and the link to customers and markets.
Are your employees in tune with your strategy and how they can bring it to life?
