Colby Fordham
As the Senior Interactive Solutions Consultant, Colby Fordham helps lead the Strategic Learning and Technology Team at Root. With a unique blend of technical expertise (a former applications developer) and consultative capabilities, Colby partners with clients to scope, architect, and implement learning solutions that enable strategic execution at the frontline level. With a deep expertise on both conceptualizing and building creative and interactive curriculum programs, he is Root’s subject matter expert on sustainment and skill-building. Colby also assists clients in identifying the right learning program for their needs. In more than 10 years at Root, Colby has partnered with global organizations across all major industries to build and implement custom learning programs.
Previously, Colby researched and developed learning software that leveraged predictive analytics to enhance both the learning and user experience. Colby has presented his research nationally on topics such as the importance of the user experience in increasing learner retention, integrating predictive analytics and learning software, and digital learning trends and forecasts. Colby has a Bachelor’s of Science and Technology with a focus on Interactive media, complete with a minor in Marketing from Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio.
When he’s not dreaming up the next learning solution, Colby acts as Root’s unofficial personal trainer by hosting bi-weekly fitness classes open to all co-workers, called RootFit.
