On any given day at Root, you might…
Work with the world’s largest companies to overcome business and organizational challenges.
You’ll build relationships with Fortune 2000 clients to understand their priorities and goals and help transform and drive culture change through digital solutions. This may include working directly with subject matter experts, project sponsors, or senior leaders, as well as fellow Rootsters.
Lead and manage projects from beginning to end.
As a key driver of Root Learning, Media and Technology sales growth, you expertly balance relationships and projects. This includes setting clear objectives, designing the experience, collecting and managing data, coordinating creation, initiating conversations about changes needed, and consulting on implementation.
Engage others to generate Root Learning, Media, and Technology opportunities.
Proven pathways to success include leveraging your internal and external networks to generate leads, attending conferences and events, following up on marketing-generated leads, mining your network and relationships, pursuing dormant account growth with the support of others, and referrals. Owning and driving growth as an individual contributor and achieving results are both critical.

- Bachelor’s degree (master’s degree is a plus)
- Minimum of five (5) years relevant sales, business development, or consulting experience
- Subject-matter expertise in learning modalities, media use, and digital technologies (web, eLearning, social, mobile, LMS)
- Track record of presenting, positioning, and scoping solutions with senior-level buyers
- Strengths in presentation and facilitation for executive groups
- Willingness to travel at least 50% of the time
